Beyond the Flat Logo
Jamuna Bank came to us looking for a refresh. They didn’t want a traditional flat animation; they wanted a "Brand Film" feel compressed into just a few seconds. As a 3D animation studio in Bangladesh, we see a lot of requests for "high-tech," but the challenge is always making it feel grounded rather than just flashy.
Our goal was to visualize the bank as a pillar of the modern urban landscape. We didn't want the logo to just appear; we wanted it to arrive. To do that, we needed to create a sense of scale and momentum, showing the brand as a flowing part of the city’s heartbeat.
The Blue Pulse
The visual strategy centered on what we called the "Blue Pulse"—a streak of light representing the bank’s energy moving through a metropolis. We stuck to a palette of deep blues and crisp whites to honor the brand identity, but pushed the lighting to feel moody and premium.
The camera follows this light through the architecture, ending on the logo. It’s a simple concept, but the execution relied heavily on our post-production studio team in Dhaka to make sure the transition from the fast-paced city to the stable, resting logo felt earned.
Technical Execution
We moved back and forth between 3D layout and 2D compositing to get the look right. Here is how we broke it down:
Modeled a dense city in Blender to give us a complex environment to fly through, varying the building heights so the parallax effect would be obvious at high speeds.
Used curve-guided particles for the light streaks so we could control exactly where the "pulse" traveled and how it interacted with the buildings.
Dialed in refractive glass shaders for the logo elements, ensuring they caught the environmental light and looked like physical objects rather than flat vectors.
Managed the atmosphere in After Effects, adding volumetric fog and glow to separate the buildings and create a sense of massive distance.
Applied a shallow depth-of-field in the final macro shots to force the viewer's focus onto the texture and details of the logo.
Unified the color grade to ensure the specific "Jamuna Blue" popped against the darker background without looking oversaturated.
