We recently collaborated with Marcel to produce an AI-driven TVC that highlights their latest home appliances. By blending cutting-edge AI generation with traditional 3D animation and post-production, we managed to maintain strict brand accuracy while delivering a cinematic, modern look.

Using AI and VFX for the Marcel TVC
At FireDrum Studios, we’re always looking for ways to push the limits of what a VFX studio in Bangladesh can do. Our recent project for Marcel was a bit of a departure from the usual: we created a warm, relatable TVC for their home appliances using AI-driven video generation.
The idea was to see if we could move past some of the usual filming constraints. But the real challenge wasn't just generating cool-looking shots—it was making sure the brand’s products looked 100% accurate and the characters stayed consistent in every frame. That kind of precision is exactly why an experienced 3D animation studio in Bangladesh is still essential, even when you're using the latest AI tools.
The Strategy: Character and Brand Consistency
Our plan for "The Modern Home" was pretty simple: show a couple enjoying their Marcel products in a space that feels real and inviting.
Using prompt engineering, our team built a consistent look for the main characters. We needed them to look like the same people throughout the ad, whether they were sitting on the sofa or walking past an air conditioner. This digital-first workflow gave us the flexibility of a big-budget shoot without the massive logistics, while keeping the feel of a traditional commercial.
The Technical Pipeline: How we built it
While we used AI as a starting point, our technical pipeline in Dhaka is where the actual polish happened. As a dedicated post-production studio in Dhaka, we used a specific mix of tools to get the look right.
AI Generation
We used AI models to create the core environments. We focused on the small details—like the texture of the fabric on a chair or subtle facial expressions—to make sure the cinematic look felt natural rather than "computery."
Matchmoving with PFTrack
To get 3D products to sit naturally inside AI-generated rooms, we used PFTrack. By extracting camera data from the AI clips, we "locked" our 3D elements into the scene. This keeps the perspective and depth perfect, which is a must for high-end visual effects.
3D Modeling in Blender
AI is great for backgrounds, but it often struggles with specific brand details. We modeled the Marcel AC, refrigerator, and washing machine from scratch in Blender. This gave us total control over reflections, lighting, and small movements—like an AC vent opening—that AI simply can’t get right yet.
Compositing in After Effects
The final "glue" happened in After Effects. This is where we blended the AI footage with our 3D renders. Through careful color grading, we matched the warm "golden-hour" glow of the AI scenes to our models, making the products look like they were actually there in the room.
A New Way of Working in Bangladesh
The final TVC shows how you can bridge the gap between AI’s creative potential and a professional 3D animation pipeline. It’s not about replacing artists; it’s about giving our team better ways to tell a story.
Since 2015, FireDrum Studios has grown into a team of about 20 artists and technologists. By mixing AI with our established VFX expertise, we’re able to provide brands in Bangladesh with visuals that are both high-quality and efficient. We're proud of how this one turned out, and we’re excited to see where these tools take us next.
